Satay "Ajo Saiyo"

Is there anyone here who has never tried to eat satay? Of course, everything must have been. Who doesn't know this Indonesian food and what's more, it's foreign, oh well, we're proud to be part of Indonesian.  This food is made from pieces of meat arranged with a stick. This snack is generally made from chicken, goat, beef, or rabbit meat. there are also boiled eggs.

In West Sumatra, especially there are many kinds of satay, Padang Darek satay, Padang Pariaman satay and etc.

But this time I will talk about "Sate Ajo Saiyo", this satay is located on Jalan Raden Saleh, near GOR Agus Salim. I've been waiting to taste this satay for a long time, because every time I pass this street, I always see crowds of people buying satay, you can see from this picture. very crowded, isn't it?

So finally, I became curious and rushed to buy it. this time I brought my sister and boyfriend. after arriving there. visitors are already busy, I immediately ordered 1 portion of satay for 3 people, the price for each portion is 10k with 5 skewers of meat which we can request for any kind of meat. we can also ask for other additions such as meat, steamed diamond shape rice (ketupat), crackers, or gravy. and every 1 skewer of meat is only 1k. really cheap. we also had to wait a while for our order due to crowded diners and take-away orders.

We chose to eat on the spot. in its place is not given a seat, but we can sit along the sidewalk behind which there is a small stream of water.

After waiting for our order to finally arrive. The taste of the satay is the same as any other satay I've ever eaten, but... but this one hehe... the uniqueness of this satay is that the sauce is dark red and I feel fresh because the sauce is spicy and has a fresh sensation in my throat. because I like spicy food, I feel just fine with this satay. but my boyfriend said that the satay is very spicy hahaha maybe because he doesn't like spicy food, in the end, it's still too late hihihi.. it's true that this satay is really delicious, I really like the taste, and this is really suitable to try for spicy lovers.

This ajo saiyo satay is open from 5 pm to midnight (it will close when it runs out) and the place is very easy to find. usually stands in front of the "Toko Kopi Rasa" near the GOR. if we pass through Raden Saleh Street, of course, it is very easy to find it because the place is on the side of the road. repurchase?of course yes.
